Calista Bruschi is an editor,  journalist and writer. Since 2000, she has worked in media and communications roles in both public and private sectors, most recently in an editorial capacity for Bauer Media Group. She has also had her writing published  in various Australian publications, including the Townsville Bulletin, Remedy Street Press and The Verdict magazine.

Writing is her long-time passion, and Calista started crafting short stories at an early age. She created her own newspaper in high school, which received acclaim (rather than detention) from her teachers, which led her to pursue a writing career, and she obtained a Bachelor of Journalism from James Cook University. An overseas holiday in 2007 inspired Calista’s desire to share her travel experiences and her blog ‘Find Calista Here’ was born. It combines her passion for sports, food, travel and all things ‘writing and editing’.

Calista is a member of a number of organisations, including the Queensland Writers Centre and the Society of Editors Queensland. When not penning her thoughts, she enjoys creating culinary masterpieces, engaging in the Italian language, dabbling in photography, and spending time in the company of her wonderful friends and family.
